	Style for Spring/Summer08 Drapers is a magazine that offers "unparallel access to the UK fashion world". They deliver all the latest fashion news and trends to large companies and independent retailers like us. Two things come across strongly for this Spring/Summer - glamour and femininity. Unusual prints will be strong, whether bold and retro or more subtle and sweet. There will be vibrant bright colours, balanced out with neutral tones, the result being a sort of romantic safari! Blue has a huge role, whether it be electric, denim or classic navy. Navy is making a big comeback for the next two seasons. The nautical look also returns with tailored trousers, stripes, reds and pinks. Skinny trousers continue but for those of us that are not keen, we have flared trousers with higher waists than we have seen for a while(thank goodness.) This coming season was described in the "Observer" as having a "Great Gatsby" feel, with puffed sleeves, ruched collars, ruffles, tiers, and cinched in waists. Fabric ideally will be sheer or shiny and The item for everybody's wradrobe will be the cocktail dress.
